Appeal Court sacks Abia Governor, orders swearing in of APGA candidates

Its almost 2016 and judgement has been made today.
In its judgement today, Thursday, Dec. 31, the appeal court pellatred the swearing of Otti as governor of Abia state.
A Court of Appeal in Abia has ordered the incumbent Governor of the state, Mr
Okezie Ikpeazu , to vacate his seat as it declared the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Mr Alex Otti, thewinner of the State's Governorship election.
In its judgement today, Thursday, Dec. 31, the appellate court ordered the swearing of Otti as governor of Abia state.

Activist advises new EFCC boss to make history in fight against corruption

A human rights activist, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye, on Tuesday advised the new acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to strive to make history in the fight against corruption in Nigeria. Oladunjoye, said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Iseyin, Oyo State, that Mr Ibrahim Magu's appointment came at a time the country was ready to tackle corruption. "He should realise that he has a place in history and he has his name to make or mar. "That the President has chosen him at a time he wants to fight corruption regardless of political affiliations placed enormous responsibilities on his shoulders as acting chairman."
